Caring for cloth

Storing your cloth diapers can be as easy or as technical as you want, do what works for you. I purchased this plastic thingamajig at a target for about $30 .....

And It works just great ;) even though we're running about of space with over 62 diapers...oooops!

THIS HERE BIN IS WHERE ALL THINGS DIRTY GO
A lock lid bin like this goes for $10 at the dollar store.

THIS WONDERFUL INVENTION IS VERY HELPFUL IT ALLOWS YOU TO SPRAY OFF ALL THE POOP PRIOR TO PUTTING IT IN PAIL, ALTHOUGH NOT A NECESSITY , IT COMES IN HANDY ;)

IM CURRENTLY USING & LOVING CRUNCHY CLEAN LAUNDRY DETERGENT,THAT I PURCHASED FROM OUR LOCAL CLOTH DIAPERING STORE, the DIAPER LAB. AFTER LUNA PROTESTED AGAINST MY 'GO-TO' ORIGINAL POWDERED TIDE..WHO KNEW ENZYMES COULD CAUSE A NASTY RASH :(

Here i have put washing instruction on an index card
& put in a photo magnet on top of washer. I wash every
3 to 4 days. Making sure ALL diapers are separated from
rightful inserts, empty into washer. Wash on small or med
load (depending on how many diapers, no more than 15 in a
small load to ensure proper water circulation) NO detergent
to loosen up 'dirt' in diapers. then another wash WITH 2 1/2
TBSP of Crunchy Clean, rinse and all diapers on MED heat for
max time.

I also use cloth wipes, or 'baby face cloths'
they go into diaper pail with all things dirty :)
you can purchase fancy ones online, make your
own or buy cheapies like these at your local store.
